In early April, a collective of over 100 Realogics Sotheby’s International Realty brokers from all branch offices came together at the Connoisseurs of Life Showroom in Kirkland for an exclusive event featuring six top-producing listing brokers from the firm, who sat on a panel to share their expertise in winning listings and perfecting listing strategies for their clientele. At the event, which was co-sponsored by Caliber Home Loans, attendees indulged in bites by DERU Market and Washington wine tastings as they listened to the panel discussion that covered topics from connecting with clients and assessing value to staging and harnessing the power of RSIR’s extraordinary marketing.
“It’s always a pleasure to get together with the RSIR team to share insights and best practices,” said Jennifer Johnsen Cameron, Vice President of Brand Development for RSIR.” I am always impressed by the knowledge that emerges when we collaborate.”
Some brokers focused on storytelling, as Becky Gray, Senior Eastside Global Advisor discussed the importance of telling a home’s story and Dennis Paige, a Bainbridge Island based broker described connecting to clients and their desire to see that “you are passionate about what you do.” Chris Doucet, a Seattle broker, shared her success in crafting a sterling reputation that plays into the way she presents each property she lists.
RSIR’s award-winning marketing was another key point, as Dave Janssens from the Kirkland office shared the compelling reasons why he joined RSIR and the way he leverages their tools to increase his business. Laura Halliday, Founding Member of Park House also discussed the significance of the Sotheby’s brand heritage, describing the way it helps her identify a property’s unique attributes as she crafts a successful plan for her clients. Brian Hopper, a Kirkland-based broker, also shared the way that creative marketing strategies help The Hopper Group articulate their value.
The panel took audience questions that included how to handle questions when a client wants to discount a fee and what to do when a seller wants to overprice their home, and as the event wound down, guests mingled and discussed key takeaways.
