Despite the holiday weekend and the usual slowdown, last week saw a surge in buyer activity. Pending sales increased along with the number of sold listings, while active listings slightly declined. In King County, the median active and sale prices remained stable. However, the days on market decreased as demand outstripped the 41.4% drop in new listings introduced last week. Given this pent-up demand, we can expect a rise in the median sale price and a continued decline in days on market.
